Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Buttery Roasted Pears
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Carefully halve the pears and remove the cores, keeping the skin on.
- Melt unsalted butter in your ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Place the pear halves cut-side down in the skillet and sauté for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and let the pears bake for around 20 minutes until tender.
- Flip the pear halves over, drizzle balsamic vinegar over each one, and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- Drizzle honey over each pear half and let them rest in the skillet for a few minutes.
- Transfer to a serving plate, pouring any remaining pan juices over the pears.
