  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Carefully halve the pears and remove the cores, keeping the skin on.
  3. Melt unsalted butter in your ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Place the pear halves cut-side down in the skillet and sauté for about 2 minutes until golden brown.
