Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

- In a baking dish, combine warm noodles, diced chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, frozen peas, and black pepper. Mix well.
- In a bowl, mix together cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, and melted butter. Evenly sprinkle this topping over the casserole base.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until the top is golden and the edges are bubbling. Optionally, broil for an additional minute for a crispier top.
