  • 1 large egg binds the mixture
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt for a lighter version
  • 2 cloves minced garlic fresh is ideal
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce for umami flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning or similar seafood seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives or fresh chives
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes or fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice fresh is best
  • salt and pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, gently combine crab meat, pork rind crumbs, egg, mayonnaise, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, chives, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix carefully.
  3. Shape the crab mixture into 12 evenly-sized balls.
  4. Spray air fryer basket with cooking oil and arrange crab cake bites in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 5-6 minutes, then flip the bites and cook for another 5-6 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Carefully remove from the air fryer and serve warm with dipping sauces.
