  • 1 package Puff Pastry Store-bought or homemade
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash
For the Filling
  • 8 oz Goat Cheese Can substitute with cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes Chopped, fresh tomatoes can be used as a substitute
Garnish
  • to taste Fresh Herbs Optional, for presentation

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into triangular shapes, roughly 5 inches wide at the base.
  2. Tightly roll each triangle from base to tip to form a cone shape and seal the edges with water.
  3. Place the formed cones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Beat an egg for egg wash and apply it to the outer surface of each cone for a golden sheen.
  5. Bake the cones for about 15-20 minutes until golden-brown, then cool slightly.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine goat cheese and chopped sun-dried tomatoes until well blended.
  7. Pipe or spoon the filling into the cooled cones generously.
  8. Serve on a beautiful platter, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
