Cooking Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the tri-color pasta and cook according to package instructions, usually 8–10 minutes, until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- While the pasta is cooking, prepare all mix-ins: cube the cheddar cheese, dice the tomato, chop the bacon and salami, and dice the turkey or chicken.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and ranch seasoning mix until smooth.
- Once the pasta has cooled, add it to the bowl with the dressing. Fold in the cheddar, tomato, bacon, lettuce, salami, and turkey or chicken, mixing gently.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the pasta bowl for at least 30 minutes.
- Just before serving, give the pasta bowl a gentle toss and add lettuce if prepared separately.
