- In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of softened butter, ½ tablespoon of garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon of dried parsley. Mix until smooth.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each of the 4 slices of bread.
- Heat a skillet over low heat and place two slices of bread butter-side down in the pan. Sprinkle half of the cheese evenly over each slice.
- Place the remaining two slices of bread butter-side up on top of the cheese-covered slices.
- Cook on low heat for about 4-5 minutes or until the bottom turns golden brown.
- Flip each sandwich and cook the other side for another 4-5 minutes.
- Remove from skillet and let cool slightly on a wire rack. Slice each sandwich in half and serve warm.
