  • 1 cup orzo or ditalini pasta watch cooking time
  • 1 bowl broccoli both stems and florets
For Serving
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil for drizzling

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Chop the broccoli florets and stems, and combine them with chicken stock, water, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large pot. Boil over medium-high heat.

  3. Blend the soup to desired texture using a potato masher or immersion blender.
  4. Stir in pasta, cook for an additional 15 minutes over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or pepper as needed.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with parmesan cheese and a drizzle of olive oil.
