  • 4 cloves Garlic Freshly minced; garlic powder can work in a pinch.
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese Feel free to experiment with mozzarella or cheddar.
For the Roasting
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil Melted butter can also be used for a richer taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Essential seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Essential seasoning.

Method
 

Cabbage Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice a head of cabbage into thick rounds, about 1 inch thick, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the cabbage rounds and sprinkle with salt and pepper, rubbing it in to coat evenly.
  4. Distribute minced garlic and grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the cabbage.
  5. Roast in the oven for about 35 minutes until edges are crispy and cheese is golden brown.
  6. Optionally broil for 2 minutes for extra crispiness, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.
  7. Remove from oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, and slice into wedges to serve warm.
