Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Toss the cubed sweet potatoes in a bowl with olive oil, smoked paprika, and half the garlic powder. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for about 25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and break it apart. Cook until browned for about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Lower heat and add remaining garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Drizzle half the hot honey over the beef and stir to coat. Cook for another minute.
- Assemble bowls with cooked rice or grain, then add beef, roasted sweet potatoes, sliced avocado, and cilantro.
- Drizzle remaining hot honey over the assembled bowls and serve immediately.
