Cooking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Arrange frozen crispy fries on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Season ground beef with kosher salt and pepper. Divide into six equal portions and shape into thin patties.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Melt butter or drizzle cooking oil into the pan.
- Place patties into the skillet, pressing down firmly. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until edges are golden brown, then flip and cook until desired doneness, about 2-3 more minutes.
- In a separate saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour. Gradually add milk until thickened, then mix in cheese until melty and creamy.
- Remove fries from the oven and transfer to an oven-safe platter. Top with cheese sauce and distribute cooked patties.
- Drizzle with additional cheese sauce and return to the oven for 5-10 minutes to meld together.
- Let cool for a minute and serve topped with Thousand Island dressing, grated onion, and any desired toppings.
