Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a medium baking dish.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes until apples are tender.
  3. Separate the refrigerated biscuit dough into individual biscuits and flatten each to about ¼ inch thickness.
  4. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the apple filling onto each flattened biscuit, then add a piece of caramel candy on top.
  5. Fold edges of the biscuit over the filling, pinching to seal tightly. Place seam-side down in the baking dish.
  6. Brush melted butter on top of each biscuit and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm, optionally drizzled with caramel sauce.
