- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the cabbage into thick ½-inch rounds and brush each side with olive oil.
- In a large bowl, combine your protein, chopped onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and add an egg if using.
- Form patties from the meat mixture that fit the cabbage rounds and place them on the cabbage slices.
- Bake for about 25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- If using cheese, add it on top and broil for an additional 3-5 minutes until melted.
- Serve with fresh parsley and your favorite dipping sauces.
