  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
Crust
  • 1/2 cup Butter Margarine is a suitable substitute
  • 1 package Pie Crust Homemade or store-bought
Optional Garnishes
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Toasted
  • 1 cup Whipped Cream
  • 1/2 cup Maraschino Cherries

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the undrained crushed pineapple, eggs, sugar, and flour.
  3. Place your pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, fitting it well against the edges.
  4. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust, smoothing the top.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Cool completely on a wire rack.
  7. Slice and serve chilled or at room temperature with optional garnishes.
