  • 1 pound Ground Beef Lean for less grease.
  • 3 cloves Garlic Fresh and minced.
  • 1 medium Onion Diced yellow onion.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For sautéing.
For the Creamy Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream For a rich sauce.
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan Cheese Freshly grated for best flavor.
For Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautéing for 5 minutes until onion is translucent.
  3. Add ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned, about 7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream, gradually adding reserved pasta water until creamy. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  5. Add drained pasta to skillet, tossing to coat with sauce. Heat for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
