Cooking Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautéing for 5 minutes until onion is translucent.
- Add ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned, about 7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Lower heat and stir in heavy cream, gradually adding reserved pasta water until creamy. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add drained pasta to skillet, tossing to coat with sauce. Heat for another 2 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
