  3. Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut them in half. Place filling along one edge and roll tightly.
  4. Beat egg and milk for egg wash and brush it over the tops of each sausage roll.
  5. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
