  2. Gradually mix in 3 cups of all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of salt. Add 2 tablespoons of softened butter and mix until a cohesive dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-12 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled.
  5. Gently punch down the dough and divide it into 8-10 equal pieces. Shape them into balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
