Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, checking for doneness.
- In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese and melted butter. Add confectioners’ sugar, vanilla, and salt until creamy.
- Once the cake is done, sprinkle diced strawberries and white chocolate chips on top.
- Dollop the cream cheese mixture over the cake, allowing it to sink slightly.
- Return the cake to the oven for an additional 15-20 minutes until the topping is set.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 30 minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with additional strawberries.
