Preparation Steps
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add 1 pound of diced chicken breasts to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
- In a separate skillet, cook 6 strips of bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes, then chop into small pieces.
- Combine the chopped bacon with the chicken and add 1/2 cup of ranch dressing, mixing thoroughly over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Toast 4 sandwich buns in the skillet, cut-side down, for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
- Assemble the sandwich by layering shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes on the bottom half of each bun, then spoon the chicken-bacon-ranch mixture on top.
- Top each sandwich with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
