Step-by-Step Instructions
- Form patties by shaping the ground beef into three equally sized patties, weighing about 1/3 pound each. Season generously with burger rub and let sit for 15 minutes.
- In a frying pan over medium heat, chop the bacon into small pieces and cook until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels, reserving 1 tablespoon of fat.
- Sauté the diced onion in the reserved bacon fat for 4-6 minutes until translucent and aromatic.
- Return crispy bacon to the pan and stir in pickled jalapeños, grape jelly, apple cider vinegar, honey, and brown sugar. Cook on low heat for 5-10 minutes until thick.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill patties for 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness. Top with American cheese to melt.
- Assemble the burger starting with the bottom bun, place the cheesy patty, add bacon jam, and spread crunchy peanut butter on the top bun before closing.
- Serve with a side of sweet potato fries or salad.

Notes
Allow burgers to rest for 5-10 minutes after grilling to retain juices. Adjust sweetness of bacon jam to taste.
